WINDOWS MONITOR SETTING WINDOWS 10
If you can't find the Auto button or calibration feature, then you can also manually adjust the frequency and resolution settings through Windows 10 until you find the proper setting that has your display centered properly. Adjust your Display Frequency Until the Display is Centered

If you don't see an Auto button, you may need to go into the monitor's menu (which should be a button marked "Menu") and find the "Auto" or "Calibrate" feature, which will automatically correct the display. Your monitor should have an "Auto" button on it somewhere that is used to calibrate and center the display - press the button and watch the magic happen before your eyes. Use the Auto Button to Calibrate your Display Automaticallyįortunately, the fix for this is very simple. This caused the entire screen to shift because the monitor wasn't configured for 59Hz in its hardware settings.
WINDOWS MONITOR SETTING DRIVER
I had the exact same problem with one of my PC's that I upgraded to Windows 10 after the upgrade, the display driver was using 59Hz instead of the regular 60Hz, which I had previously set. The reason your display is shifted is most likely because Windows 10 installed a new display driver, or changed the display frequency settings to something other than what you had set in your previous operating system.
WINDOWS MONITOR SETTING UPGRADE
Any ideas what is going on? Should I upgrade my video driver or do I need to whack my monitor? Thanks in advance for any advice you can give me, and many, many thanks for all you have taught me over the years. In fact, the clock appears to be missing the 'AM' or 'PM', and the date shows only the month and day, but not the year. The left side of the screen has a small black border around it. When you are finished using the “Personalize” dialog box, you can then close the window by clicking the “X” in the upper right corner of the window.I just installed Windows 10 over this past weekend, but my LCD monitor's display seems to be shifted to the right, and the fonts are fuzzy.

In the “Wait:” box, you can set the number of minutes that the computer is inactive before the “Screen saver” starts. Make any selections you would like in the settings dialog box and then click “OK” to return to the “Screen Saver” tab. Depending on the screen saver selected, the options of what you can change (if any) will be different. The screen saver that is currently selected can be adjusted by clicking the “Settings…” button. Hit the “Esc” button on your keyboard, or move your mouse, to stop the preview and return to the “Screen Saver” tab. Use the “Screen saver” drop-down to pick the screen saver you want and then click the “Preview” button to see how it looks. A screen saver is an animated graphic created so that the desktop image displayed on a computer screen will not burn into the monitor permanently due to constant, unchanging display onscreen. You can click the “Screen Saver” hyperlink to open the “Screen Saver Settings” window. When you are done, you can click the “Save Changes” button (“OK” button in Windows Vista) to apply the background.

If your PC is capable of enabling transparency, then you can check the “Enable transparency” hyperlink to enable transparent window display in Windows. You can click the “Window Color” hyperlink (“Window Color and Appearance” hyperlink in Windows Vista) to select a color scheme to use for Windows. That will open a window that allows you to change the display properties of the monitor. To do this, right-click anywhere on your desktop (except on an icon or shortcut) and select “Personalize” from the menu that appears.
